

Martin Boyer has been a research fellow at Collegium Helveticum since 2007 where he is working on a dissertation under the supervision of Prof. Folkers. In the framework of the «Tracking the Human» project he is analysing pharmacological concepts of the human being in relation to drug development procedures.
He studied Biochemistry and Neuroscience at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and wrote his master thesis with Prof. Wehner. Thereafter he studied New Media Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague focusing mainly on installations and photography.
Martin Boyer is interested in Biology, Pharmacology, Science and Technology Studies as well as epistemological and socio-historical concept formation and according implications on scientific practices and methodologies.
